Okay I'd like to be the first to admit that I watch TV. That is after all what a TiVo has been invented for, so that people like me that aren't home when certain shows are on don't have to worry about VCRs and tapes and power outages. So I TiVo a few shows, and my guilty pleasure these days are medical dramas. Look I work in a hospital so it's always entertaining to see how my job is portrayed on certain shows. Of course the main issue I see with these shows is how easy it is to find a doctor in them. They are everywhere you turn in some of those shows, and I find that hard to believe is something they actually think happens.

Now I watched Grey's Anatomy for a while, but being a man that has dealt with adultery from both sides of things... more or less I wasn't really a fan of almost every lead character just participating in something like that just as if it was no big deal. So when Kate Walsh's character Addison got her own show I thought maybe I could watch that. I mean in dealing with Oncology I can see the advantages of alternative medicine and I figured at least it wouldn't be like all the other shows.

However in my foolish thought that I'd be watching a Medical Drama and ended up with the oddest insight into what I can only assume is how women actually interact. Of course the reason I am even bringing this up is because of the whole needing to be kissed quote, because it seems that the guy from Wings seems to think that his method of tending to Kate Walsh is to just kiss her and make her knees weak in the stairwell and walk away.

He actually walked away. From Kate Walsh. Walked away from the gorgeous red head and left her there. So ABC? Shonda Rhimes? I am not sure who I have to talk to, start a letter writing campaign... but if you ever need an on-set Oncologist to help you out? Or even give a bit of credibility to an upcoming storyline? Give me a call. Dr. James Wilson, Oncology, Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, and I'm sure I could teach Kate Walsh something about being kissed.
